Dangerous levels of Climate Change represent the greatest threat to the future of our planet, but here at CarbonLow we believe that we all have the power to make a
difference. Your actions can inspire others locally, nationally and internationally.
We believe the UK’s Climate Change Bill is to be applauded. This will enshrine in law binding carbon reduction targets. It is expected the resulting Act of Parliament will
add a target of 60% reduction in Co2 levels 2050 when measured against 1990 levels. This will be in addition to the 20% reduction set for 2020. However, we would caution that
this 3% reduction year on year is seen by many scientists as too little and an 80-90% reduction may be required in order to avoid the worst effects.
Update: The Bill has now received Royal ascent and became the Climate Change Act 2008. The emissions reduction targets have been increased to ’at least 80% by 2050’,the interim targets for 2020 are being reviewed and a five year carbon budgeting system has been introduced. We hope this will act as a significant driver for investment and change in the UK.

Activities to ensure that we operate responsibly at all times.
We will continually look for further improvements by:

- Utilising technology for information transfer
- Waste reduction
- Energy monitoring
- Updating our own carbon footprint and carbon burden
- Supporting research into the role of carbon reduction in future property and corporate value
- Seeking ways to encourage co2 reduction through innovative voluntary carbon trading
